ACCOMPLISHMENTS

1. Sales/Revenue Growth:

Under Mr. Kenanah’s leadership, Emitac Healthcare Solutions has seen a significant consistent increase in computed annual growth rate in Sales of 24% (as compared to the healthcare industry’s CAGR of only 7.7% in the GCC region) reflecting a robust expansion strategy and effective market penetration. Mr Kenanah has essentially doubled the business within the first 3 years his leadership taking the company to new heights.

2. Strategic Partnerships:

Mr. Kenanah has successfully established and strengthened partnerships with leading healthcare companies such as Philips Healthcare (both in UAE as well as in Saudi Arabia), Samsung Medison, 3M Dental in Saudi Arabia,  Mitaka – Europe, B.Braun AESCULAP, Honeywell (Track and Trace) & CAIR LGL significantly enhancing the company’s product portfolio and market reach.  By H1 of 2024, these new agencies have accounted for 23% of total business.  Additionally, Mr. Kenanah is the architect of several strategic partnerships among DHA/DAHC, SEHA of Abu Dhabi, the Ministry of Health and GHQ. 

3. Regional Expansion:

Mr. Kenanah implemented a comprehensive regional expansion strategy for Emitac Healthcare Solutions (EHS), resulting in the establishment of several profitable and sustainable entities. Notably, he launched EHS-Oman, which now effectively serves the healthcare sector in the Sultanate of Oman. Additionally, he expanded EHS’s operations in Saudi Arabia through strategic partnerships with top international agencies, including Philips Healthcare (Ultrasound & C-Arm business lines), Mitaka-Europe, 3M Dental, and others. This strategic expansion led to remarkable sales growth for EHS-KSA, increasing the company’s sales by ten folds. 

Moreover, Mr. Kenanah designed an innovative business model for EHS’s Pan-Africa operations. This joint venture between EHS and Samsung-Medison in South Korea facilitates the rapid export of Samsung ultrasound machines to countries across the African continent, enhancing EHS’s footprint and operational efficiency in the region.

4. Sustainability:

Mr Kenanah deployed some ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking to increase the company’s sustainability by tapping on the old equipment and using them as spare parts or refurbishing them, also we started looking for different solutions that support the environment like ZAP-X for oncology treatment without Cobalt and no need to bunker.

5. Innovative Market Approach: 

Under the leadership of Mr. Kenanah, EHS has enhanced its market position by strategically introducing a range of solutions tailored for collaboration with the public sector. These solutions encompass diverse business models, including Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), profit-sharing business models, and Service as a Solution (SAS) models for outsourcing. By adopting these approaches, EHS seeks to optimize service delivery within the public healthcare sector, particularly in light of budgetary constraints.

6. Operational Efficiency of EHS:

Implemented comprehensive financial restructuring and optimization strategies across all business units of EHS resulting in improved cash flow, cost savings, and optimal inventory management.

7. Customer-Centric Approach:

Spearheaded a customer-centric strategy that has greatly improved customer satisfaction and loyalty, evidenced by a 19% increase in customer retention rates.

8. Market Expansion:

Played a pivotal role in expanding Emitac’s operations into new markets, particularly in the GCC region and North Africa increasing the Emitac’s market share and influence.

 

 

9. Awards and Recognition:

Under his leadership, Emitac received numerous prestigious awards, including the Most Innovative Partner Award at the PHILIPS CONNECT 2024 HPM Growth Region Sales Meeting Event, the Employee Happiness Awards 2024’s Silver Awards for Best Company to Work For (SME), The Best Employee Engagement Strategy of 2022 from the Future Workplace Awards which is the biggest HR Event in the Middle East and Bukhatir Group’s TAQDEER AWARDS 2021 as the “Employer of Choice”.

This strategic approach has led to a significant improvement in the company’s Productivity Versus Payroll Rating, which increased from 5.9 points in 2019 to an impressive 11.66 points by 2024.

Mr. Kenanah also introduced the T.E.A. philosophy, which stands for Trust, Empowerment, and Acknowledgment. We have introduced eco-friendly medical consumables & products and have adopted sustainable practices in our supply chain. This includes reducing packaging waste, optimizing energy use in our facilities, and promoting the recycling of medical equipment and materials.

We have initiated a comprehensive carbon footprint reduction program, which includes eventually transitioning to renewable energy sources for our facilities and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. EHS will also invest in energy-efficient technologies and practices, in order to contribute to a significant decrease in our overall carbon emissions.
